How does the Thetahealing® technique work?

When using this technique we work with the Theta Brain wave. We will discuss the brain waves and how they work in this blog.

We have five different brain waves
To understand the Theta state we will begin by explaining the five different brain wave frequencies we have. They are Beta, Alpha, Theta, Delta and Gamma. In our daily lives we are producing all of these frequencies but what we do and say will be dominated by one frequency in any given situation.
Beta
Beta, is the brain wave you use whenever you are thinking,talking or communicating. It has a frequency of 14-28 cycles per second. This is the state where you are active and alert.
Alpha
Alpha is the bridge between Beta and Theta and has a frequency of 7-14 cycles per second. This brain wave governs daydreaming and fantasizing and is linked to a very relaxed meditative state of mind.
Theta
Theta is a very deep state of relaxation. When in this brain wave the frequency slows to 4-7 cycles per second. The Theta brain wave is where we find our subconscious, it holds memories and sensations.It also governs our attitudes, beliefs and behavior and is the first stage of the dream state. In this state, we can get below the level of the conscious mind and find beliefs that are affecting our daily lives, most of which we are completely unaware of having.
Delta
Delta, is the brain wave that of a deep sleep and has a frequency of 0-4 cycles per second. It is also the state that utilizes our “knowing” or intuition.
Gamma
Gamma is where we learn and process information (like you are doing right now!) and these waves stimulate the release of Beta endorphins. It has a frequency of 40-5,000 cycles per second and appears to be involved in higher mental activity.
Scientists have discovered that certain brain frequencies (particularly in the Alpha, Theta and Gamma-Theta states) have been found to:
Alleviate stress and promote long lasting substantial reduction in anxiety
Facilitate deep physical relaxation and mental clarity
Increase verbal ability and verbal performance IQ
Synchronize both hemispheres of the brain
Invoke vivid spontaneous mental imagery and imaginative creative thinking
Reduce pain,promote euphoria and stimulate endorphin release

The conscious mind is estimated to be about 12% of our mind.
This is the decision maker for our day to day tasks. It looks at our subconscious programming and decides what to do, but our conscious brain and subconscious brain may not have the same perception of beliefs.
The subconscious mind is estimated to make up about 88%
of the mind.
It holds all of our memories, habits, beliefs, characteristics and self image. It also holds the pre-programmed instructions we don’t think about such as breathing. Anytime we decide to make a change it is first formed in the conscious mind and then will usually be met with some conflicting beliefs that already exist.
Once the client is in the relaxed Theta state we can then examine the Belief Systems that are held in the subconscious.
By accessing our subconscious we can not only examine these Belief Systems, but we can go further and change the ones that are undesirable to us. Using the Theta state we can go back to the frequency of growth and change. In this state is where we can identify negative patterns of behavior and change the Belief to one that is desirable to us instead. For example you may be carrying a Belief that “Success means working hard”, we can go back to the time where you formed this and then change it to “Success comes easily to you” instead.
The best part of this method is that you are completely in charge of which Beliefs you want to change. You will always need to agree or say "Yes" to not only, anything that is going to be changed, but what we will be changing it into, as well. For example if you have "Success means working hard" we will decide together what that can be instead. It could be "Success come easily to me." or "Success is easy" or even "I am successful without hard work". The words that resonate with you matter the most.
